Both Jon and Janet have an entrepreneurial spirit and have worked as consultants and freelancers for a lot of their working career. So it was that when Jon left eNews, he immediately put his experience to work creating Pint Size Media. The service portfolio has grown over time, but the main focus of providing great quality content for brands has not changed.
Janet left The Wedding Group after five years on the team as marketing manager and is focusing her attention on the marketing Pint Size Media and working with small to medium-sized brands to grow their business. Prior to being employed by The Wedding Group, Janet ran a small PR consultancy called The Communication Circle where she offered services such as PR, marketing and event management.

Getting to know us
After studying theatre technology and being a DJ on-campus radio at then Natal Technikon, I joined ECR (then called Radio Port Natal and later East Coast Radio) where I began my 25-year career on radio.
Whilst I have done a number of things over the years, including selling time-share and videos, I have remained true to his passion – broadcast and journalism. I have been the editor of T3 and Digital Life magazine, presented one of the longest-running radio shows in South Africa, SAfm Sports Special. I was also a sports editor at eNCA and bring an in-depth knowledge of the 24-hour news cycle.
I can still be found presenting a midday sports bulletin during the week on SAfm, as well as a music show on Saturday night and the weekend news show.
My very first career was in the theatre before moving onto a ‘proper’ job. After working in the travel industry for many years first with Thompsons Tours, then Wilson Collins Travel, I fell into public relations when I took a job at Sefin Marketing Communications.
The time at Sefin laid the groundwork for my own communications agency, The Communication Circle which I closed to join a long time client, The Wedding Expo and Wedding Inspirations magazine. But the call of the wild still beckoned and after five years, I left to join Jon and Pint Size Media.
I was privileged to work with BMC Software, MicroStrategy, Nicola Hadfield, The Wedding Expo, Wedding Inspirations magazine, Bancroft Antiques, O’Keefe and Swartz, Reflex Solutions, NCS Colour, Yokota and Charterhouse to name a few.
Whilst I help small to medium companies with social media management, PR remains my first love.
